"Do you love me J?" He asked. He always loved calling her J even when he knew her name was Ijeoma.

"Yes, D. I love you." She always called him D too. She felt weird. She had a bad feeling. Something was definitely wrong.

"I love you too J. I really do love you." He said and hugged her, like it would be...the last.

"You're the best thing that has ever happened to me, J. I didn't mean to do anything I did." He said.

"I...I don't understand, D. What are you saying?" Ijeoma asked.

"J. I really love you."

"Tell me what happened na." She replied, worry written all over her face.

"I...I slept with Sister Joan." He muttered.

"Jesus!" Ijeoma shouted and Daniel wasted no time in covering her mouth. She slapped his hands away.

Sister Joan was the young Reverend sister in the church then. Very beautiful, agile and loving. But she left the church without notice.

"Why would you do that? Why?" Ijeoma asked, fear and anger written all over her face.

"I didn't mean to. I...I actually raped her. That's why she had to leave the church suddenly."

"Daniel! I never believed that you could do such vile thing!" She said and stood up. They...they must hear of this.

'Ije!" He shouted as he failed to grab her hand. "Come back here!"

Ijeoma ran across the rooms, trying to get out only to slam into a hard wall. The hard wall, wasn't so hard. It was Daniel.

"You won't expose my secret, Ije. I trusted you that's why I told you. You won't!" He ended with a harsh tone.

"I won't. Please don't kill me." She begged stepping backwards. He quickly grabbed her shoulders and moved her backwards towards the wall.

She froze.

Her eyelids fluttered as she coughed out blood. She looked to her stomach to see a knife in her. She looked back to Daniel and sighed, giving her last breath.

Both crimes, on his hand. No one will ever know.
